The project’s objective is to empower young people in Cyprus by increasing knowledge and encouraging a deeper understanding of EU rights and principles. The project aims to inform, engage, and inspire young people to become active advocates for EU rights and values, to encourage a culture of active citizenship, promote democratic discussion, and contribute to the development of a healthy and democratic space in Cyprus. The project includes a series of information and awareness raising activities, such as EU Rights and Values Education Workshops, establishing a group of Youth Ambassadors for EU Values, Dissemination for EU Rights and Values Advocacy through new or existing tools/platforms, etc.

Target groups:

  1. Young people aged 18-35, including young people with fewer opportunities
  2. Educators and youth workers
  3. NGOs and other institutions working in the field of human rights, youth empowerment, and European citizenship
