Mental empowerment programme for children and young adults adolescents in remote North Aegean islands

The objective of the programme for the mental empowerment of children and young adults, developed by the Child and Adolescent’s Center, is to cultivate skills that contribute to the strengthening of mental resilience. With this objective in mind, experiential workshops will be held in the following islands of the North Aegean: Chios, Samos, Lesvos, Limnos, Oinousses, Psara, Ikaria, Fournoi, Thymaina and Agios Efstratios.

The workshops for children and young adults will be implemented in two cycles and will connect current issues with the strengthening of the skills that build the concept of mental resilience.

The initiative includes additional actions for parents, as well as awareness-raising meetings with local community actors.
