The project aims to promote and enhance gender equality and mitigate discrimination, with a specific focus on rural areas in the prefectures of Peloponnese and the region of Central Greece. The goal will be achieved through the implementation of training sessions for students (aged 13-15) and teachers in public secondary schools. These sessions aim to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality, which is a fundamental value of the European Union.

Activities:
- Awareness-raising and training workshops on gender equality were delivered to 650 secondary school students (ages 13–15) across 12 public schools in 10 (mostly rural) areas. The sessions empowered students with knowledge, skills, and confidence to advocate for gender equality and democracy.
- Creation of an online platform, hosting curriculum resources and practical tools tailored for teachers and educators, including material on journalism, democracy, international affairs, and the threat posed by anti-gender narratives.
- Capacity-building seminar and exchange of good practices with an NGO in Spain, offering critical insight and comparative knowledge. Outputs were made publicly accessible through the Equality Map Handbook.
- A targeted awareness and information campaign which reached almost 41,000 people, was carried out to increase visibility and engagement around gender equality and human
- A final event titled “Equality Map – Democracy and Equality in Practice” brought together 53 participants from academia, journalism, education (formal and non-formal), law, and civil society.
