‘Experience Science’ programme

The ‘Experience Science’ programme is a Bodossaki Foundation initiative implemented in collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Heads of Natural Science Centres (PANEKFE). The programme seeks to address the shortage of essential and up-to-date equipment in the science labs of state secondary schools across Greece.

The programme enables schools to upgrade their science laboratories, providing students with access to experiential and interactive learning in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The school grants comprise specialized portable laboratory kits for the three core sciences; audiovisual resources such as interactive whiteboards, projectors and computers; and functional lab infrastructure including workbenches and storage units. The comprehensive equipment packages allow schools to either set up a science lab from scratch or fully modernize existing facilities.

The ‘Experience Science’ programme is implemented with the support of the Bodossaki Foundation in collaboration with organizations and companies with a steadfast commitment to community investment. These include:

To date, more than 80 state secondary schools across Greece have equipped their science laboratories through the programme.

The programme is designed to familiarize pupils with the natural sciences and to foster scientific thinking. At the same time, it promotes experiential learning, strengthens collaboration skills, and helps create equal access to quality education, putting into practice the Bodossaki Foundation’s vision of an equal-opportunity society with possibilities and prospects for all.
