The project’s main objective is to empower teenagers of all genders and especially those aged 15–17 to critically reflect on gender roles and online behaviours, develop digital and communication skills, and co-create content that promotes equality and respect. Activities include: (a) a mapping exercise (desk research, online survey, focus group discussions) to explore how teenagers in Cyprus perceive gender roles, digital behaviour, and online influences, b) a gender-sensitive empowerment workshop for girls aged 15-17, (c) a gender-sensitive empowerment workshop for boys aged 15-17, (d) a joint co-creation lab where teenagers will collaboratively design campaign messages and receive digital training, and (e) a youth-led online campaign that will promote respectful, inclusive digital culture and challenge the harmful narratives dominating online spaces.
Target groups:
• teenage girls and boys, including those from rural or under-represented communities.
• educators, families, and youth workers
