Homelessness is one of the most extreme forms of social exclusion and a serious violation of fundamental rights. In Greece, although programmes such as “Housing and Work” have now been developed, people experiencing homelessness remain invisible to policy-making processes and excluded from active roles in support structures. The overall aim of the project is to strengthen the social and political participation of homeless people through training, asserting their right to work, and recognizing the role peers can play as an institutionalized established professional field. Education is the foundation both of the psychosocial support peers provide to other beneficiaries, and of their own participation in public discourse and advocacy for institutional change.

Target groups:

  • People who are experiencing, or have experienced, homelessness.
