The project responds to a critical need within the Greek health system: the lack of institutional mechanisms for the systematic participation of patients in policy making. It addresses challenges such as the under-representation of vulnerable groups, the lack of dialogue with public authorities, and inequalities in access and quality of care, especially in rural and island areas. The goal of the project is to create an open, participatory and representative forum for dialogue between patient associations and relevant stakeholders by means of an online platform. Its objective is to empower Civil Society groups working in the health sector to make a meaningful contribution to the drawing up of policy that is equitable, evidence-based and socially just.
Target groups:
- Patient associations
- Public health bodies
- Health professionals
- Academic community
