In the aftermath of the devastating fires that struck the Patras area and Western Achaia in August 2025, Bodossaki Foundation has joined forces once again with Coca-Cola in Greece to meet the immediate needs of the people affected and the local community.
With a donation from The Coca-Cola Foundation, Doctors of the World is implementing a programme in support of the affected communities, which employs Mobile Units to provide specialist assistance. The relief actions cover immediate needs, providing personal hygiene items, medical supplies, food and basic household items, as well as personalized psychosocial support.
The programme aims to meet the emergency needs of those who were impacted through holistic interventions which emphasize the requirements of the most vulnerable groups, covering both households’ immediate needs and their ongoing need for support and a return to normality.
