CSR Connecting Day is an initiative of the Bodossaki Foundation, which aims to bring together executives of companies active in the field of CSR, with organizations and informal groups of citizens, by exchanging ideas and proposals for projects and actions with a strong social impact, which seek funding to be implemented.

This year’s event, hosted on July 5th, 2018 in Athens, is organized in collaboration with Global Sustain, an organization with proven sustainability experience, working systematically to support both corporate responsibility and sustainable development activities and the valuable work that NGOs offer in Greece.

This years’ event includes three important highlights:

(a) presentation of research results from Greece and abroad, highlighting the importance and maximum added value of NGO/Corporate partnerships

(b) the content of the event has been shaped on the basis of a survey carried out by Global Sustain among its member companies so that presentations delivered by the NGOs invited to attend the event are as close as possible to those of the companies that will take part, and

(c) the opportunity to get to meet NGO representatives, through speed dating

Manny Amadi, CEO, C&E Advisory, has delivered this year’s keynote speech, focusing on the importance of corporate and NGO partnerships and the drivers and trends of Corporate Responsibility, on the basis of the results of the C&E Corporate-NGO Barometer.

Since 2015, when the first CSR Connecting Day was organized, 60 innovative ideas and actions with strong social impact have been presented to companies. We remain committed to hosting more similar events in the future, thus encouraging cross-sectoral understanding and partnerships.
