The Observatory studies the full spectrum of Public Health functions, such as the assessment of population health needs, health promotion, protection and prevention, crisis management, as well as issues of leadership, organisation, governance, staffing, and resource management.

Action Pillars
The Observatory for Public Health Policy and Organisation will develop its strategy through actions structured around five key pillars:
- Dissemination of knowledge, facilitating the transfer of knowledge among researchers, professionals, policymakers, and Civil Society.
- Advisory support for evidence-based policy-making, providing guidance to institutions involved in the design and implementation of Public Health policies.
- Informing and raising awareness among the general public with the aim of disseminating scientific knowledge to society and promoting understanding of critical Public Health issues.
- Promotion of research and innovation in Public Health, with the aim of supporting research initiatives and disseminating new knowledge and best practices in the field of Public Health.
- Updating and expanding the Bodossaki Foundation’s Action Plan for Public Health in the 21st Century.
