The association of the Great School was founded in 1927 by members of the school who had at the time fled to Greece, with the aim of: A) providing solidarity for it’s members and moral as well as material support for destitute members. B) collecting cultural riches from Constantinople in cooperation with other associations. C) a spiritual Greek Turkish rapprochement.
