Grant awarded to the organisation ‘Faros tou Kosmou’ (Lighthouse of the World) for the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic system

Every day the organisation ‘Faros tou Kosmou’ hosts 150 children in the Day Centre and 17 children in the ‘House’, resulting in very high energy needs and costs.

The Bodossaki Foundation is supporting the organisation with a grant to cover the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic system with net metering.

This grant is expected to lead in the coming years to a substantial reduction in the organisation’s operating costs, with a significant positive environmental impact.
