The project aims to empower and socially reintegrate the homeless population hosted in the structures of the Municipality of Athens, using education, theatre and music as its primary tools. At the same time, it seeks to highlight new prospects for integration and empowerment through research on the role and importance of art for this population. The project’s ultimate aim is to protect, promote and raise awareness surrounding the fundamental rights of homeless people, and to contribute thereby to a more just and inclusive society.
Target groups:
- Homeless people (temporarily hosted in the Integrated Homeless Centre of the Municipality of Athens and those catered for in the same structure’s day centre).
