This project seeks to empower prisoners and strengthen their active citizenship through activities that promote EU values. Adult prisoners attending a second-chance school within the prison will take part in art and creative writing workshops on topics related to EU values, such as Human Dignity, Freedom, Democracy and Equality. The prisoners themselves will co-create an electronic game via an interactive platform to raise awareness of EU values which are directly related to their reintegration.

Target groups:

  • Adult male prisoners (23 to 55 years old) participating in the prison’s second-chance school
  • Teachers working with prisoners.
