In recent years, the spread of fake news through manipulated or inaccurate audiovisual material has intensified, boosted by advances in artificial intelligence technologies. The lack of tools to verify the authenticity of content makes journalists’ work more difficult and leaves the public exposed to misinformation. At the same time, the intellectual property of news material can often be lost or infringed when it is reproduced without transparency. The project aims to develop a platform that will allow members of the public to upload photos and videos, which will be automatically verified through C2PA and blockchain technologies. At the same time, journalists will have access to verified material, while a user trust system and misinformation identification model will be created.
