Energean and Bodossaki Foundation have joined forces in a collaboration aimed at helping young graduates aspiring to work in the energy sector obtain the skills and qualifications that will enable them to do so. In particular, the two organisations are granting joint scholarships to Greek university graduates, so that they may follow MSc and PhD study programmes related to the energy sector in European and US universities.<\/p>\n
The collaboration between Energean and the Bodossaki Foundation begins with the awarding of five scholarships to outstanding Greek university graduates<\/strong> for the academic year 2019-2020. The five scholarship recipients are the following:<\/p>\n The criteria used in the selection of the five scholars covered their performance in their undergraduate studies, their drive to broaden their knowledge and their focus on the value of excellence in their professional, social, and personal life.<\/p>\n Mrs Dimitra Filippou, Head of Development at Bodossaki Foundation<\/strong>, said: \u201cBodossaki Foundation is consistently investing in education, research, and scientific excellence. To this day, the Foundation has granted more than 2,500 scholarships to assist young graduates or students in their final year of studies to follow postgraduate studies in Greece or abroad, in the scientific fields of their choice. Our collaboration with Energean allows us to award an additional five scholarships to outstanding young Greek graduates, giving them the opportunity to take a step that will bring them closer to fulfilling their dreams, in a sector of critical importance such as the energy one. I am certain that other companies too can follow Energean\u2019s example, endorsing the highly successful model of awarding scholarships that Bodossaki Foundation has been applying for decades, in order to promote the excellence and the potential of young Greek scientists around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n For her part, Mrs Ilia Riga, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Energean<\/strong>, said: \u201cWe are truly delighted to work with Bodossaki Foundation in a joint initiative which we aim to further expand in the future.
