\"\"The \u201cVoicing opposition to domestic, sexual, cyber violence & harmful practices\u201d (VOICES)<\/strong> programme aims to prevent and combat all forms of gender-based violence<\/strong> through supporting civil society organisations (CSOs) in Greece and Cyprus which are active in this field, but also by enhancing their organisational capacity, sustainability and participation in policy-making. VOICES is co-funded by the European Union (90%) through its Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV-2025-DAPHNE) programme, with a 10% contribution from the Bodossaki Foundation, the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights and the NGO Support Centre. The \u20ac2.5 million <\/strong>VOICES programme is coordinated by the Bodossaki Foundation (Greece) in partnership with the NGO Support Centre<\/a> (Cyprus) and the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over its three-year implementation period, from February 2026 to February 2029, VOICES will allocate \u20ac1.62 million to fund approximately 29 projects in Greece and 8 projects in Cyprus through an open call for proposals.<\/p>\n

Funding will be provided for projects that contribute to the prevention and combating of domestic and sexual violence, gender-based cyber violence, and harmful practices related to gender-based violence.<\/p>\n

Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting small and grassroots organisations, as well as organisations active in rural or remote areas.<\/p>\n

Through its actions, the programme is expected to benefit people who have experienced or are at risk of gender-based violence, women and girls facing intersectional discrimination, individuals impacted by gender-based cyber violence, and survivors of harmful practices related to gender-based violence. The programme is also aimed at frontline professionals, the media, public authorities, policymakers and the general public.<\/p>\n

The VOICES programme will also deliver a comprehensive capacity-building programme which has been tailored to the needs of CSOs in Greece and Cyprus and seeks to promote their organisational development and sustainability. The programme will be implemented by Social Dynamo<\/a>, the Bodossaki Foundation\u2019s NGO Hub, in collaboration with the NGO Support Centre and the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights. To enhance the organisations\u2019 capacity to drive systemic change in preventing and addressing gender-based violence, the programme will encompass training, workshops and mentoring; specialized support; networking, awareness-raising and advocacy initiatives; and organisational development tools.<\/p>\n
