{"id":12731,"date":"2023-12-12T16:43:20","date_gmt":"2023-12-12T14:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/?page_id=12731"},"modified":"2026-03-09T12:03:25","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T10:03:25","slug":"current-grants-programmes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/en\/our-initiatives\/grants\/current-grants-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"CURRENT GRANTS PROGRAMMES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The grant-making activities of the Bodossaki Foundation further its vision of a society of equal opportunities and prospects for all, structured in line with the Foundation\u2019s four strategic action pillars:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting Education<\/li>\n<li>Improving Healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Empowering Civil Society<\/li>\n<li>Protecting the Environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>GRANT-MAKING PROGRAMMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Foundation accepts applications for grants from public-law entities and private-law non-profit entities for the following programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>\u2018<\/strong><strong>Open Grants Programme\u2019<\/strong>, which accepts applications throughout the year submitted by public entities and non-profit organisations, who must use the Foundation\u2019s dedicated online platform. Details about the submission and evaluation process of proposals are available <a href=\"https:\/\/acrobat.adobe.com\/id\/urn:aaid:sc:EU:0015bdb6-dfc9-46fa-a45a-d3cfaf56cc31\">here<\/a>. In 2026, Bodosaki Foundation will <strong>not prioritize funding requests from individual school units<\/strong> through the resources of the Open Grants Programme, as it actively supports schools and their students through nationwide educational programmes such as the programme for equipping science laboratories in public lower secondary schools across the country, <strong>&#8220;Experience Science&#8221;,<\/strong> and the innovative student Business Administration competition, available to upper secondary schools nationwide, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/en\/donation\/supporting-young-business-talents-programme\/\">&#8220;Young Business Talents&#8221;<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>\u2018Thematic Grants Programme\u2019 <\/strong>is launching thematic calls for funding to address social needs which have been identified as priority action areas for the coming year. In 2025, the \u2018Thematic Grants Programme\u2019 is co-funded by the <strong>Bodossaki Foundation<\/strong>, the <strong>John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation<\/strong>, and the <strong>TIMA Public Benefit Foundation<\/strong>, with a focus on <strong>Healthy Ageing<\/strong>. The aim of the Foundations is to contribute collectively, to the best of their ability, to improving the quality of life for older adults in Greece.\n<p data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"736\">Within the framework of the Programme, a total budget of <strong>\u20ac300,000<\/strong> will be allocated, with grants of up to <strong>\u20ac50,000 per selected project, <\/strong>starting in December 2025 and lasting from <strong>8 to 12 months<\/strong>. Find the announcement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/en\/healthy-ageing-announcement-of-the-results-of-the-thematic-grants-programme\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Foundation also co-ordinates, manages and co-funds grant-making programmes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/en\/our-partnerships\/our-philosophy\/\">in partnership with third parties<\/a>.
