Donors may choose to support the Bodossaki Foundation’s public benefit goals as well as any other cause close to their heart.

Donor-Advised Funds are simple and flexible, with an initial contribution of any amount. Donations can be made during the donor’s lifetime and are final and permanent. Donations exceeding €50.000 can also constitute Named Funds.

An example of a Named Fund is the donation of Savas Parastatidis. The ‘Savas Parastatidis’ Scholarship is a named scholarship for which candidates were first invited to apply in 2022. Thanks to the donation of the private donor Savas Parastatidis, it is able to support one (1) Ph.D. student at the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering of the International Hellenic University for four (4) years, with the option of a one (1) year extension.

The scholarship fulfills Mr. Parastatidis’ desire to offer young scientists the opportunity to pursue their scientific goals through post-graduate research studies at the university from which he himself graduated: ‘The time I spent at university opened up opportunities, which have now made it possible for me to give back, as best I can, and help the next generation of scientists’.
