Since its establishment, the Bodossaki Foundation has allocated more than 450m euros for the achievement of its goals and more specifically for the education of young people and the reduction of social inequalities, for the strengthening of medical and research infrastructures and towards securing sustainable development.

In 2013, the Foundation became the fund operator of the EEA Grants Greek NGO Programme “We are all Citizens”, through which a total of 76 NGO projects have been implemented around Greece, by 65 NGOs and 40 partner organisation. The funding, amounting up to 7.3m euros, represents the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities in Greece.

By continuing to build on the strengthening of civil society, Bodossaki Foundation, in a consortium with SolidarityNow, has won a new bid to act as Fund Operator of the EEA Grants Active Citizens Fund for Greece, for the period 2014 – 2021.

Through the Bodossaki Foundation, anyone, whether a business entity, an individual donor or an organisation, who wishes to implement charitable projects in Greece, may do so, by making use of the valuable experience of our staff as well as by our implementation and monitoring mechanisms, which guarantee transparency, accountability and a maximum social impact for each donation or grant.
